Testimonies

"Rev 12:11  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death."

Testimonies help us to overcome obstacles in our lives.  By testifying the whole Body of Christ is built up.  Be encouraged by the testimonies below.

Harvester Birmingham began as a vision in the final meeting of the 2008 Summit in Hermanus. This was confirmed in another vision the following Sunday. Due to procrasternation it took another 11 months before we started meeting on 6th September 2009.

We had been meeting as a bible cell for a year before the church started. The meetings are in our home in Birmingham which means you have to know your neighbours well. All of our initial concerns of how will worship flow, will we have freedom to prophecy, will anyone come, have all been allayed. I have just put together a CD of all the sermons, prophecies and testimonies from the day we started and God has had a lot to say and done even more

I haven't done all the preaching, my wife Annie and son Ben have preached in my absence and we have even had a visiting speaker from South Africa, Morné Van Wijk.

In January we sent Jenny our daughter, our first candidate, to Cape Town to attend MBC. She was sent with many prophecies and prayers and we know she will be a blessing to the saints there.

February this year we started a Tuesday Householder meeting and Thursday Bible Cell. Both are going well and proving a great blessing. Also that month we saw the addition of Duncan and Beverly Curry who attend when they can from their Yorkshire home. We send them to Cape Town for training on 22nd April. We are already a sending church.

In March we were joined by Stuart Colam, a friend of André and Nola and well known to the Cape Town church. He lives in Birmingham and has a great ministry in leading worship. I have included a song he brought on 28th March that the Lord gave him the week before. You can play it as part of this message using the download or play option.

We already feel a sense of the purpose of God in what we are doing. There is a unity and a foundation is being built with Apostolic perspective and frequency. We are excited by what lies ahead as we move on with God together.

Please pray for us and if you are in the UK come and visit us. We would love to have you.

So from the youngest baby in the move to all of you who are part of it, thank you and we love you all.

Prophet Graham Unsworth

It seems ironic that Graham begins his account talking about vision, yet here we all are, one-eyed on account of Duncan. When one suffers the body suffers, is Prophet Graham's title for this picture. So in the wake of Duncan's cataract operation we were all out in sympathy! Being a part of Birmingham Harvester has been so good for us, keeping us and encouraging us when we were in a bad place. We have received words of prophecy from the youngest to the oldest member and have enjoyed the worship and true fellowship of a church who are wanting Christ to be formed in its people. We have much to thank Graham, Annie and Ben for. They have opened up their home and their hearts to us and have been a shining light when times were darkest. We will be honoured that it is Birmingham Harvester who will send us to Cape Town. With our love to Birmingham Harvester and Cape Town Harvester. Beverly and Duncan Curry
