Sermons

Welcome to our sermon archive.  The Word of God is so deep and rich that nobody can ever say "I know it all".  As modern day believers we often discover present day truths in the ancient scriptures.  This archive is a roadmap of what we have discovered so far, and is made available freely.

Ways to preserve Unity
Posted by andrep on 07 February 2011
Ways to preserve UnityGod commands His blessings where brothers dwell together in unity. Unity is one of the keys to the supernatural power of God in the midst of a body of believers. Unity brings peace and tranquillity into a group. Unity draws the presence of God onto the scene. The blessings of God include protection and prosperity to all who are part of that unit. The Greek word homothumadon means to be ‘one mouthed’. The Hebrew word for unity is ‘yachad’ and it refers to a unit or a commando. Dr. Roy M. Gray taught me in Miracle Valley, Arizona that unity cannot be created it can only be preserved. He explained that unity comes through the preaching of the Word. The saints are a band of God that is inwardly transformed by the Word of God. Only when the focus is on Christ and His Word, will unity become the standard in the spirit.Unity means to be in one accord or to agree. Amos 2:3 asks how can two walk together, except they be agreed as one? Paul wrote to Philemon to take the runaway slave that got saved back into his work force but to treat him henceforth as a brother, not a servant. Then Paul included this comment: but I will do nothing without your consent so that your good deed will not be by constraint, but willingly. If we willingly obey the Word of God concerning unity we will ‘eat’ and enjoy the ‘good of the land’, the great and precious promises of God will bless the entire church body!James expounds in chapter 3:14 -18 that earthly wisdom is sensual and even demonic and it is experienced where there is envy, division and selfish ambition. But godly wisdom is first pure, then peaceable and easy to be entreated and willing to yield. It is wise sometimes to admit that you could also be wrong instead of trying to win every argument and losing friends.Unity originates from the Tri-une Godhead: Jesus said, I and My Father are one!’ The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Christ and therefore He is in unison with God the Father and God the Son.Jesus’ High Priestly prayer is that we would be one with Him as He is one with the Father and the Spirit.Jesus found 12 disciples who became one with Him – except Judas Iscariot who betrayed him to be crucified. Those disciples made other disciples and brought them into the unity of faith by adhering to the apostolic doctrine, breaking bread together, praying together and by sharing what they had with one another. The level of unity we experience in church comes from what I learned from Dr. Gray and the other teachers at Miracle Valley, Arizona. I taught it to Nola while still going out with her. Then I taught it to my family: my father, mother, sister, brother in law, wife and cousin were the first bible school students I ever trained. There were some other students as well.Your family is your first church. Unity in the family unit is vital. Without unity a family cannot succeed. A marriage cannot succeed without unity. A business will fail without a basic unity. A church cannot walk in God’s blessing if there is no unity of purpose and one-ness of mind.No wonder the enemy of our souls, the devil, tries to eradicate unity wherever it exists. Without unity we are open to his attacks. The Roman soldiers used their rectangular shields to cover the regiments front and back, sides and even over their heads. No weapon could penetrate that fence. When we walk in unity the fiery arrows of the enemy cannot penetrate our secure faith in Christ! We are protected on all sides. That is why we preserve the unity of faith that began with Dr. Gray that taught me and then I taught Nola and my family. Now thousands of people everywhere are part of that unity of faith, that frequency of the Word that was given to me.Ways to preserve unity1. Stop being so critical2. Stop being so easily hurt and offended3. Stop envying and being jealous4. Stop being so disappointed5. Let your mind be renewed by the Word of God6. Let your heart be changed by the Word of God7. Let your will be affected for good by the Word of God8. Obey the Spirit’s promptings to be of One Mind and One Heart and One Purpose.9. Come into the unity of Jesus Christ and His heavenly Father. There is one God, one baptism and one faith: there isn’t another baptism that is ‘just as good as immersion’! There is only one way of baptising people in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost: by putting them under the water like a burial and by raising them up out of the water, like being resurrected! There is only one Faith: faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as our Saviour and soon coming King. There are not a variety of faiths! There are many man-made religions and cultural forms of worship, but there is only one kind of faith that can save your soul!Paul encourages all the churches to be one in faith and one in purpose. You cannot like everyone around you, but you can love everybody. Love is patient and love is kind, love does not always seek its own and is not so easily irritated.I once asked the Lord in prayer, ‘why am I so irritated with a certain person?’ The Holy Spirit chastised me in a gentle way and said, ‘because you never pray for that person’. When I started praying for that person, and interceding, my attitude towards that person changed. It is like the Apache’s say: don’t criticise a man until you have walked a mile in his moccasins. My mother, Kitty Pelser, taught me a fine lesson in life: ‘breathe a compliment but sniff at an offense’. In other words enjoy the compliment and then breathe it out to God in thanksgiving. But only sniff at an offense. Don’t take it in. Do not let it get into your head. It will bother you for years to come. Jesus said, it cannot be helped that offenses come, but do not take the offense. Let it go. Get over it. Leave it behind. Sniff at it.Unity comes by preaching the Word of Truth. We all bow to the Word and unity is preserved.
All Things Are Possible

All Things Are Possible By Dr. Andre Pelser If you can believe, all things are possible. So the trick is to be able to believe. If you can…how would you know you can? Who is qualified to believe? Is it for everyone? How does faith work? When does faith not work? Do all things include everything? Let us define what we are talking about before we meditate on it. Dunatos – strong, able to do (Matthew 19:26) Adunatos – impotent, weak, unable to do (Romans 8:3 – what the Law could not do) Rhema – Word of God (not void of power) Luke 1:37 Luke 1:37 37 For with God nothing shall be impossible. The King James Version Here are some points to meditate on so that our faith in God’s awesome ability will be stimulated above our needs! The Angel Gabriel repeated what Jeremiah prophesied: ‘Ah Lord God, Thou hast made the heavens and the earth by Thy great power! Nothing is too difficult for Thee! Great and mighty God, great in power and mighty in deed, nothing is too difficult for Thee!’ With God everything becomes possible. He is able to do all things that seem impossible. He is never impotent to perform what is required. He has admition to anything that needs to be done. His word is never devoid of power to perform what He promises! He is omnipotent – all powerful. All power belongs to Him He is omniscient – all knowing. All knowledge belongs to Him He is omnipresent – He is everywhere. You cannot hide from him He created the world and the universe and all that is in it He made a way in the Red Sea for people to pass through He rained bread from heaven when they were hungry He gave water from a rock when they were thirsty He made the sun stand still when they needed a victory in battle (Just a thought here: can the sun stand still or is it the earth?) He made the walls of Jericho fall down to give the army access into the city He locked the jaws of lions to protect his servant He stopped the power of flames so that his servants were not burned (And yet those who threw them into the fire were burned to death!) He allowed a virgin birth to introduce His Son to the earth (If you can believe that you can believe anything!) He walked on water to still a storm (Nobody has ever done that before or after Him) He healed the lame and made them walk He opened blinded eyes He made the deaf hear He was raised from the dead and ascended up to Heaven in a cloud (That is exactly how He will return: the way He went up) He can save us and forgive our sins and forget about them He can heal us of all our diseases and bless us abundantly He can provide like none other He leads and guides us in all truth by His Holy Spirit He shows the future according to what we need to know He rewards those who diligently seek Him He is able to do anything that you really need – He is the Great I Am What do you want God to do for you? What looks impossible to you? If you ask in the Name of His Son Jesus Christ and believe in your heart and do not doubt you will have whatever you desire of Him. Mark 11:23, 24 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. The King James Version God Specializes in things thought impossible And He can do what none other power can ever do!
